What is formatting/typesetting?

This is the last stage of the publishing process that produces the finalised files that you will upload to your publishing platform. I can create files, using the software Vellum, in a variety of formats to suit different platforms e.g. KDP, IngramSpark, BookVault, D2D, etc.

Basic package
This service uses Vellum's pre-set styles to generate the perfect typeset for your book in both digital and print.
What I need: Your manuscript, a brief of the type of style you would like (i.e. romantic, sporty, gothic, etc.), the formats you want (e.g. ePub, PDF, etc.), the trim size of any print editions. If you want extra pages added like playlists, excerpts, etc. then you would need to provide these.
Pricing: £30 for a 7-working-day turnaround. A faster turnaround and other add-ons (e.g. one or two customisations) are available for an extra fee.

Custom package
This service customises Vellum's pre-set styles to create unique formatting that reflects the vibe of your story. This could include custom chapter headings/chapter spreads, custom title pages, custom ornamental breaks, custom style insert pages (e.g. Playlists, character art (provided by you), etc.)
What I need: Your manuscript, a brief of the type of style you would like (i.e. romantic, sporty, gothic, etc.), the formats you want (e.g. ePub, PDF, etc.), the trim size of any print editions. If you have character art, maps, playlists, or bonus pages, etc., you would want me to include, then you will need to provide those.
Pricing: £100 for a 7-working-day turnaround. A faster turnaround is available for an extra fee.

Got a series? If the subsequent books are using the exact same formatting style then I can format them for £20 each. If the subsequent books need matching, but ultimately different, formatting styles, then I will charge £35 each.
